In the event of any accident or injury arising from the use of an item from your Library of Things, it would be vital to demonstrate that you had taken all reasonable steps to limit risk; for this reason it’s advisable to keep hard-copy or electronic records of all your activity and processes for a minimum of three years, ideally six years.
Please speak to your broker or provider for detailed advice on exclusions and liability relating to your specific set-up; they should also be able to provide guidance on any items that are likely to be excluded from borrowing.
Some insurers might also ask for copies of your risk assessments before you launch.
