Session 1: myTurn Introduction and Basics

This session introduces myTurn itself and provides an overview of how it operates and major functionality.

We'll showcase a few existing sites that have customized their branding and integrated their myTurn site into their own website.

We'll dive into using myTurn with a focus on the member/user perspective, providing a foundation for understanding the configuration and administration of a myTurn site.

From there, we’ll walk through how to set up a new myTurn site, covering the basis of the admin dashboard and key configuration settings that ensure your site fits your organizations' and communities' needs.

This may include an introduction to membership types, enabling and configuring major features like reservations and reminders, and touching on item type default values and reservation buffer days. We’ll also cover the basics of adding, editing, and copying inventory items and a preview of our next session.

Session 2: Core Operations & Advanced Admin Workflows

This session dives into the practical aspects of running day-to-dayoperations in myTurn.

Topics will include:

Ad-hoc check in / out, charging or recording fees, and other financialoperations

Processing reservations and building orders

Maintenance plans (including for PAT testing), recurring maintenance,and maintenance reporting

Advanced inventory/item management, including editing items in bulk,managing multiple copies of the "same", and other ways to controllingloans and reservations

A brief overview of the physical inventory count / check workflow

Session 3: Advanced Topics and Upcoming Features

This session focuses on advanced capabilities, such as managing multiple locations, pickups and transfer workflows, and electronic lockers.

Additionally, we’ll discuss advanced membership models, including recurring memberships, lending for free, and setting up impact reporting.

Data security and backups will be highlighted, along with more complex membership configurations and business models.

We’ll also preview upcoming features like greenhouse gas emission and impact reporting, bulk items, consumables, and deposits, as well as, new user experience (UX) updates.
