Collaborating with other community groups on events and activities is an excellent way to support each other and reach new groups of people.
For example, you could team up with a local gardening group to share your tools with its members for one of its events.
Engaging with children and young people is also a great way to raise the profile of your project – they understand the need to take action against climate change and once they know about your project, they’re likely to tell their parents!
Try contacting your local universities, eco-schools, youth clubs and scouting & guiding groups. We’ve developed some educational materials and activities you can take along to start a conversation about borrowing.
