Borrow Something

How does it work?

Find your nearest Library of Things

Our core values at Benthyg Cymru are that libraries should be run by the communities they serve, so to borrow something you will need to find your nearest Library of Things and sign up with them.

Sign up as a member

Once you have found your nearest library, you will normally need to have ID to register. Over 18s only at the moment.  Each library will have different membership structures. Some have a yearly fee and individual loan fees, others will just have loan fees.
If you don’t have ID speak to your local Library of Things - everyone should be able to borrow regardless of circumstance.

Borrow something

Each location will have different loan periods. Some will have a delivery service, some will be collection only. Read the terms and conditions carefully.

Return it

Return your item after use. Let the library know if something doesn’t work. Give them a lovely review and recommend them to your friends.
